Exhumed Films' 24 Hour Horror-Thon Part IV/Philadelphia, PA/October 30th to October 31st

AHHHHHH!!!! I am soooooooooooo bummed that this event is sold out! I waited around too long to get a ticket, and now it's sold out! D'OH! Anyway, I thought I would still post and give this local event some love. Check out the official site for all the shocking details of this kick-ass fright flick fest!

Doors open at 11am on Saturday, show starts at 12pm. Tickets: $25 ($26 in advance)- SOLD OUT

To celebrate the joyous Halloween season, Exhumed Films proudly presents the fourth annual 24 Hour Horror-thon: a full 24 hour marathon of nonstop horror mayhem! We'll start at noon on Saturday and go straight through until noon on Sunday. As always, the lineup of films is being kept secret--people who come to the show will only find out what the features are as they unspool onto the screen. The show will be a combination of some of the biggest horror titles of the last 30 years or so mixed with some really rare gems. Plus we'll run tons of classic trailers, shorts, and other oddities. Can you stay awake for the entire 24 hours? Who will survive, and what will be left of them? Be here on October 30th to find out!

PLUS!!!! VIDEO VIOLENCE: A study of cult film on the now defunct Video Home System. Artists from across the country will cut, paint, print and deface VHS copies of their favorite films from the past. Join us as we celebrate the long lost experience of late night trips to the local video store, renting your favorite tape and wearing it out play after play before returning it (without rewinding).

Ah, well - next year for sure!! If anyone has tickets and attends, give me an update.

  1. Sorry you missed out on getting tickets, but thanks for mentioning the marathon. While it's not quite 24 hours of cult/horror films, the lobby is open to the public for the Video Violence art show (which runs the entire 24 hours of the marathon), the food vendors we're bringing in and Diabolik DVD for the first few hours. If all goes as it should, tickets will once again go on sale mega-early for the 2011 horrorthon (perhaps August 1), so grab 'em fast. - Joseph
